Let the beauty of what you love be what you do. There are many ways to kneel and kiss the ground.—Rumi
My name is Sam.

I am a white, queer, able-bodied non-lineage, householder yoga and meditation practitioner. The role of teacher grabbed me with both hands. It has been the joy of my lifetime.

My yoga journey is a little different from some of my peers—I was a meditator, and my entering into an asana practice was born from a desire to build my meditation seat. Over time, I felt how this practice of asana was a gateway to fullness, suchness, isness of consciousness, in addition to the innumerable physical benefits.

I am proud to count Caitlin Pascucci, Sarah Diedrick, Sagel Urlacher, Tracee Stanley, and Andrew Bresnen as my teachers.

I have had the privilege to hold space at Sangha Studio, White Mountain Hot Yoga, Mountain Kula Yoga, and the Kula Yoga Festival in Intervale, New Hampshire.

At this time I am taking a break from teaching to focus on my own practices, but keep an ear to the ground this Fall as new opportunities arise.
